It is set along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River and shaded by doum palms and other trees that make up this green belt of riverine forest in Samburu National Reserve.

Elephant Bedroom Camp is a luxury safari camp located in the heart of the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya. The camp is named after the large number of elephants that can often be seen in the area, and is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, which provides a year-round source of water for the wildlife.

The camp consists of 12 spacious tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom and private veranda overlooking the river. The tents are decorated in a classic safari style, with comfortable beds and traditional furnishings. The camp also features a main lounge and dining area, where guests can relax and enjoy delicious meals prepared by the camp’s skilled chefs.

The surrounding Samburu National Reserve is an area of spectacular scenery; its dry plains bisected by the meandering river, with the backdrop of Africa’s dramatic mountains, including Mt Kenya. The spacious tents have rustic and colorful African touches, offering all the comforts; including a private plunge pool on the deck, hot and cold running water, electricity.
