Finch Hattons is a luxury tented safari camp that combines its love for Tsavo with world-class facilities. The camp is completely isolated, so much so that you would be forgiven for forgetting that the rest of the world exists at all. Finch Hattons Camp is a luxury safari camp located in Tsavo West National Park, which is one of the largest game reserves in Kenya. The camp is named after Denys Finch Hatton, a British aristocrat who lived in Kenya in the early 20th century and was known for his love of African wildlife and his relationship with the author Karen Blixen.

The camp offers accommodation in luxury tents that are furnished with antique pieces and modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms and private decks. The tents are set on raised platforms and overlook a natural spring, which attracts a variety of wildlife including elephants, buffalos, and various bird species.

In addition to game drives, guests at Finch Hattons Camp can also go on guided nature walks, bird watching excursions, and cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages. The camp also has a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness center for guests who want to relax or keep fit during their stay.

Finch Hattons rebuild was carefully designed to maximise the opportunities to view our resident animals and birdlife. Sightings of hippo, crocodiles, elephants and various antelope around the camp are common, to say nothing of the 500 bird species that call Tsavo home. From our many viewing decks and dining areas, you can also enjoy the vast vistas that stretch in every direction. To the west, Mount Kilimanjaro is impossible to miss, and to the northeast, the Chyulu Hills undulate for miles.
